Practical items for households

We recorded a distribution to 58 households in September 2022. The supplies included items for storing water, sanitation and personal hygiene. Our archive photographs show buckets and other household items being prepared and unloaded.

The scope of this account

The record describes the distribution and its items. It does not establish a later change in health or household wellbeing. We present this activity separately from the annual report for July 2021–June 2022 because it took place after that reporting period.

Delivery, collection and acknowledgement

The supplies arrived by service van on Sunday 4 September. The detailed inventory records 116 buckets, 20 potties, a carton of water-treatment tablets and 40 packets of reusable pads. Fifty-eight identified household heads were called to collect supplies and sign acknowledgements. Collection was organised in groups in response to the security concerns described in the report.

The account records thanks from families and preparation of an appreciation letter to PLAN/UNICEF. Its inventory is an organisational delivery total, not a statement that every household received the same combination of items. The accompanying photograph of supplies helps show the activity without publishing recipients’ signatures or lists.

Other work during the month

Members followed up an appeal to Bamenda City Council and were asked to reshape it as a small project. A planned SEEPD meeting was postponed. Disability-card files remained in progress, and contact with Social Affairs continued. A household visit also provided encouragement and practical items.

The account describes pressure on office capacity and equipment under repair. It closes with plans for a website and organisational email. These details explain the coordination work alongside the distribution. Personal employment disputes, household histories and unverified testimonials in the source are held in the private archive.
