Continuing livelihood activities
The report describes monitoring of the third phase of a project supported by Bamenda City Council involving five participants. It records the move towards participants continuing to manage their activities. This does not provide verified income figures or show that every activity was poultry farming.
Visits and new proposals
We continued household visits to listen, offer encouragement and discuss practical support, depending on the resources available. We also submitted proposals concerning young people to potential supporters. A proposal records work towards future assistance, rather than completed delivery.
The third project phase
The July account describes monitoring the third phase of the City Council-supported livelihood project and a transition towards participants managing their activities and money independently. The annual report clarifies that two of the five participants worked in other small activities rather than poultry. Both descriptions are needed to understand the group.
The source’s language of graduation records a programme stage. It does not provide sales ledgers, costs or a calculation of sustained profit. Those results would need later evidence. The short monthly record supports a focused account of monitoring and the intended next step.
Visits and proposals
Home visits continued with people and families experiencing difficult circumstances. Members discussed their needs, offered encouragement and provided modest help where resources allowed. The underlying record contains names and personal situations that are not necessary to describe this work publicly.
Proposals concerning youth empowerment were written and submitted to prospective supporters, including the Regional Assembly. A previously submitted proposal was also followed up with the service named in the record. These were efforts to obtain future resources, rather than evidence that all requests had been funded.
