Earlier training and support

On 3 January 2025, CVID-CAM reported poultry training for five beneficiaries, sponsored by Bamenda City Council. Sessions covered housing, feeding, hygiene, marketing and record keeping. The report records collection of chicks on 5 January.

How things are going at home

On 3 September 2026, four households talked with the team about their poultry activities. Two described active flocks of around 40 birds. The others had paused production. Families explained how they had used the support received, including inputs attributed in the report to CVID-CAM, CDENO and the Regional Assembly.

The challenges families described

Keeping birds safe was a concern: families described rain, cold, damaged housing and theft. Two households hoped to restart in the dry season. A return visit gave them space to explain what had interrupted their work and what still needed attention.
