Who we are
We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can promote inclusion and create a better future for PWDs & vulnerable persons.
Community Vision for inclusive development (CVID-CAM) is a registered non-governmental organisation that promotes and protects the rights of marginalized and vulnerable persons in Cameroon. Thisi is a non-profit, non-religious and non-political organisation as governed by the Law No. 90/053 of 19th December 1990 on the freedom of association as amended and modified by Law No. 99/014 of 22nd December 1999, with mission to provide capacity building and sustainable aid to persons living with disabilities and other vulnerable persons in general in the community.
This includes those at risk such as orphans, widows survivors gender-based violence and internally displaced persons resulting from the the crisis in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon where many are rendered homeless causing them to live in deplorable conditions.
Exposure to these conditions leave them prone to human rights abuse we have a considerable focus on providing prevention and rehabilitation services through education and sensitization programmes. It also aims at carrying out training sessions with the targeted groups of vulnerable persons including survivors of abuse, street and separated children, human trafficking, rape, teenage pregnancy and marriage, domestic violence and other forms of exploitation.
The major strategy of implementataion of our activities is participatory, consultation and networking. This would be done through community partnership building with stakeholders such as inclusive education advocates, associations of persons living with disabilities, child protection committees, adolescent clubs, widows groups, traditional councils, state and religious authorities for best practices and to ensure stability.

Our vision is to have a society in which persons with disabilities and other vulnerable persons are recognized, protected and given equal opportunities to participate and become development actors
Our entire team wants to see a world where PWDs struggling in any way feels able to reach out and has people who’ll help them with education, jobs, and more. We want to spread out in every region so we’ll be reachable to all.
